Guess it’s time to say thank you
Delightful friend, thank you!
In a Sentence: Time to say thank you to the One who has made us all.
What is it About: Remember ‘Kisne banaya phoolon ko?’ from those days we were taught this at school? Well, this book is on the same lines, in English, and can be rendered to the tune of ‘LondonBridge is Falling Down’.
What makes it snuggly: That the artwork has been done by the children themselves. These are a bunch of talented children atKathaLabSchool, and have come up with some thoughtfully done interpretations of Geeta Dharmajan’s song.
What Stands Out: I like God being called ‘delightful friend’ in this song. It suddenly changes the way we are accustomed to thinking of Him!
Will be best enjoyed by: 4+; every child who loves to put a tune to words.
From snuggly to snugglier: A lot of thought goes into every single book at Katha, and it’s evident in the way they think of activities at the back of the book to go with the story. But here, they’ve gone a step further with a beautiful poster of the song, for keeps, for that special corner in your child’s room.
And try singing this English song to the tune of Kisne Banaya. It goes quite well this way too!
